Update Time!!!

Well as I told you in the revious post, i am now officially working at Baylor in Plano!! It is absolutely fantastic! If you didn't know, Baylor is a faith based hospital. So that means I can openly talk about my beliefs with my co-workers and say thank yous to my Heavenly Father at lunch time with out being looked down on or challenged. I've even had two missionary eperiences in the first two weeks of working there. They both ended in refferals to the mormon.org website. Absolutely fantastic!! People are just all around great here. I love it!

As you also know I was a bridesmaid for my friend Rita. I am going to say that it was pretty much super fun. Two of my favorite things rolled up in to one, dressing up and being with my friends. Haha such a girl, right ?! Haha I only wish I had a camera too. I love taking pictures. Here are some pictures that my friend Bethany took. :)

Before Hair and Make-up. :) Well I guess it will only let me put all the pictures at the top of the post so they are all up there haha.

Something new that recently happend is a YSA Conference. It was super cool. I went to one class and the topic was Health. I learned alot about the importance of Vitamin D and Melatonin vitamins. Both up your chances greatly in preventing cancer or other diseases! Time to start a new vitamin regimine. Then we watched the CES Fireside, and it was on Eternal marriage. I learned alot over the weekend.

Well I think that is all for now aside from my sister performing in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe Production on the 24th. But I'll take pictures and tell you about it when that comes.

Untill next time...

Haha Still Trying. Here is a new update. :)

Well I recently got back from EFY and it was fantastic! I loved every minute of it. I ended up doing 3 sessions. (One in Denton and two in San Antonio) The theme for this year was Courage to Stand Strong and the scripture was found in Joshua 1:9. "Have I Not Commanded The? Be Strong and of Good Courage, Be not Afraid, Neither Be thou Dismayed for the Lord Thy God is With The Whithersoever Thou Goest." I loved teaching this principal to my youth. No matter where you are in life, if you stay true to our Heavenly Father, his commandments and his teachings; he will always be there for you in return. I have a firm testimony of that.

When all the youth were sent home on saturday of my last week, I decided to go river rafting with some of my new found counselor friends. It was fantastic to go and sit in tubes on the river and just relax from a well worked week. Though I think the sun loved me a little too much in return. I ended up comming home with a severe sunburn that had fever under it and wouldn't allow me to move around all that much. With a lot if help from aloe vera and making my body move, when it didn't want to, I was healed within a couple of weeks. Now I just have this lovely new tan. :)

Now that I'm all better from the sunbite and tonsilitis, I can finally enjoy being home.

I am currently undergoing extreme excitement as I help a friend of mine prepare for her wedding. Haha the joys of being a bridesmaid. Everything from the Bridal Shower(s) and the Bachlorette party, to keeping her sane on the bigh day. It is going to be a great adventure.

Also, I am in the process of being hired at Baylor Plano in their Dr.'s Offices, and oh boy its a long process. First, there is a deep background check, then a drug test, and finaly a Pre-Employment Health Evaluation. All in all, it is a two week process before I get to officially start. I can't wait to start though. :) I'm just nervous that when I start, I have to make sure I get time off for my friend's wedding. Hopefully that goes well. I can officially say that I work there on the 23rd of this month.

Well I think that's all for now. I promise I'll keep trying to update. :) life is great and buisy

Until Next time....

Test Score and Other Stuff

Well I took the CMA test and the result...... an 89!! Time to go look for a job at a hospital!! On another note, I am SOOOOOO Excited to be a Counselor at EFY this Year! So excited to where I'm already packing a little bit each day. I cant wait to spend a full week in a complete gospel centered environment helping the youth of the church gain an understanding of the gospel and strengthening my testimony as well in the process. I cant wait to meet the group of amazing daughters of God that I will get to reach out to and spend a great week with. If I could do EFY all summer I would! In fact I think I might just ask for one more week off work so I can not only do the Denton Session but the Huntsville Session as well. hmmm We'll see. That's whats going on right now. I'll try to get better at updating this. TTYL

Another Perfectly Good Catch-Up Post In My Life

Well It's Official, I'm not a great blogger. :) So I guess from now on I'll start off with the things that I missed telling you.(In list form)
- After 3 months of working with Allen Pediatrics I got laid-off due to the financial unstability of the practice.
- I cut my hair short. It's an A-line Cut and in the front its a few inches below my chin. Sorry I dont have a picture to show you. I'm trying to find the perfect picture to post on here. :)
- I have put in my paperwork to be a counselor at EFY this Summer. I'm SUPER excited!!! I love working with the youth and I love sharing my testimony of the gospel. :D
- Just recently found a new job at an internal medicine doctor and so far it has been a good experience. I'm refreshing my memory on how to do the things I went to school to learn. It's just hard sometimes because the doctor is pure indian and his accent is so strong to where I have to go over what he's saying over and over again in order to decode it. The other MA's in the office are a great help too.
- Right now I am preparing to take the National Certification test in April. If you remember what the ACT was like, then put it in health career terms and you've got the test. So im trying to remember all I can to pass it. The official test date is on April 9th, and I'm counting down the days.
- I do still have the goal to move out of my parents home in July(Well as Far as plan A goes). I am looking at an appartment in Plano with a good friend of mine and hopefully it all works out. I'm just dreading the start of Student loan payments next month and I'm definatley hoping it doesn't interfere with the plans. But if it does, I dont mind waiting for the man of my life to come into the picture and take me away. :) haha
- Speaking of True love. I have the most amazing opportunity to be a bridesmade to a good friend of mine who is getting married in september. I am soo excited for her! and they are soooo cute together. Just Saying :)
Well i have to get some sleep now. Working bright and early tomorrow morning. Love you all.
